The Faith to Action Network is proud to launch its 2025 Annual Report, highlighting a year of strengthened interfaith collaboration, bold advocacy, and transformative impact across communities in Africa and Asia.
The report reflects the collective efforts of faith leaders, young people, women-led organizations, civil society actors, and development partners working together to advance health, dignity, justice, and inclusive development.
Throughout 2025, the Network continued to strengthen its movement-building efforts by creating spaces for dialogue, learning, advocacy, and collaboration across faith traditions and regions. With 140 member organizations across 38 countries, the Network amplified community voices and supported faith actors to champion sustainable and people-centered change.
Advancing Family Health and Wellbeing
In 2025, Faith to Action Network expanded faith-led approaches to adolescent sexual and reproductive health through Youth Hubs, peer engagement platforms, mentorship initiatives, and community dialogues.
These interventions empowered young people with knowledge, leadership opportunities, and safe spaces to engage on issues affecting their health and wellbeing while strengthening referral systems and community support structures.
The Network also deepened engagement with faith leaders and communities to challenge stigma, harmful social norms, and barriers limiting access to essential health information and services.
Strengthening Women’s Rights and Gender Justice
The report highlights significant progress in advancing women’s rights and gender justice through faith-led advocacy and survivor-centered approaches.
Across different regions, faith actors were equipped with tools and knowledge to address harmful gender norms, promote positive masculinities, and strengthen community responses to gender-based violence and child marriage.
One of the year’s major milestones included interfaith engagement and advocacy initiatives that strengthened collective commitments toward protecting the rights and dignity of women and girls.
The report also showcases survivor-led advocacy campaigns that amplified lived experiences and mobilized communities toward action and accountability.
Building Peaceful, Just, and Inclusive Communities
Faith to Action Network continued to play a critical role in advancing peacebuilding, freedom of religion or belief (FoRB), and social cohesion through interfaith collaboration and grassroots engagement.
The Network strengthened partnerships through the JISRA programme and expanded regional coordination efforts, including the formal launch of the Asia Interfaith Hub, bringing together faith-based organizations across South and Southeast Asia.
The year also saw increased investment in youth leadership and peacebuilding initiatives, including the establishment of the Global Youth Hub, which now serves as a platform for mentorship, dialogue, advocacy, and intergenerational collaboration.
Global Advocacy and Strategic Engagement
In 2025, Faith to Action Network strengthened its global visibility and strategic engagement through participation in international advocacy platforms including CSW69 and ICFP 2025.
These spaces enabled faith actors and youth representatives to contribute to global conversations on gender justice, adolescent health, peacebuilding, and inclusive development while positioning faith communities as key stakeholders in sustainable social transformation.
Communication, Storytelling, and Digital Advocacy
Communication continued to play a central role in amplifying advocacy efforts and community voices throughout the year.
Through digital campaigns, multimedia storytelling, survivor advocacy, and community-driven communication initiatives, the Network reached millions of people across online and offline platforms.
These campaigns strengthened public engagement on issues including FoRB, gender justice, peacebuilding, and environmental stewardship while highlighting the role of faith communities in shaping positive social change.
Looking Ahead
As Faith to Action Network reflects on the achievements of 2025, the Annual Report stands as both a celebration of collective impact and a renewed commitment to advancing healthier, more peaceful, and inclusive societies through faith-led action.
The Network remains committed to strengthening partnerships, supporting grassroots leadership, and amplifying community voices in shaping sustainable solutions for the future.
