The Faith Actors for Gender Justice Excellence Awards 2026 recognize and celebrate outstanding faith-based organizations, religious leaders, youth champions, community movements, and media professionals who are advancing gender justice across Nigeria, Ghana, and Senegal

These awards honour innovative, impactful, and faith-led initiatives that are transforming harmful social norms, preventing gender-based sexual violence (GBSV), promoting sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), empowering women and young people, and building more just and inclusive communities. 

Who can apply? 

Applications are invited from: 

  • Faith-based organizations 
  • Religious leaders 
  • Interfaith initiatives and coalitions 
  • Youth-led initiatives 
  • Community-based organizations and movements 
  • Media professionals promoting gender justice 

Applicants should demonstrate measurable impact and provide evidence of their work.
