Faith to Action Network (F2AN) marked a significant milestone on 16 July 2026, celebrating 15 years of advancing faith-led action for healthier families, gender justice, and peaceful, just and inclusive communities. The anniversary event brought together members, faith leaders, development partners, government representatives, and friends of the Network to honour a shared journey of collaboration, advocacy, and impact.
More than a celebration of the past, the event was a reflection on the power of collective action and a renewed commitment to strengthening faith voices in shaping policies and communities across the globe.
Reflecting on Fifteen Years of Progress
Since its inception, Faith to Action Network has grown into a vibrant global movement of 148 member institutions across 38 countries, united by the belief that faith actors are powerful agents of positive social change.
Over the past fifteen years, the Network has worked alongside members and partners to influence policy, strengthen community engagement, promote gender equality, and advance family health and wellbeing. The anniversary served as an opportunity to celebrate these achievements while recognising the people and partnerships that have made them possible.
A New Chapter of Leadership
One of the defining moments of the celebration was the official leadership transition, symbolising both continuity and renewal.
The Network paid tribute to the exceptional leadership of Peter Kariuki Munene, whose vision and commitment have been instrumental in shaping Faith to Action Network over the years. At the same time, the celebration welcomed Rev. Jane Ng’ang’a as the Network’s new Chief Executive Officer, ushering in a new chapter of leadership focused on deepening impact and strengthening collaboration across the global membership.
The event also recognised the transition in Board leadership, honouring the service of outgoing Board Chair Canon Grace Kaiso and welcoming Dr. Samuel Mwenda as the incoming Chair.
Launch of the 15-Year Commemorative Handbook
A key highlight of the celebration was the launch of the Faith to Action Network 15-Year Commemorative Handbook, a publication capturing the Network’s journey, milestones, and the stories that have defined its growth over the past decade and a half.
The pocketbookbook showcases the voices of members and partners, celebrates achievements across regions, and reflects the collective commitment to advancing health, dignity, justice, and human rights through faith-led action
Recognising Outstanding Service
The anniversary also provided an opportunity to honour individuals whose leadership, dedication, and service have significantly contributed to the growth and success of the Network.
Recognition awards were presented to celebrate their lasting contributions and reaffirm the importance of visionary leadership, partnership, and commitment in advancing the Network’s mission.

As Faith to Action Network enters its next chapter, the anniversary served as both a celebration and a call to action.
