Faith to Action Network

Established in December 22, 2002 as alliance of faith-based organizations (FBOs) in Ethiopia, EIFDDA has brought together FBOs with rich development experience in diverse locations of the county especially in the fields of food security, HIV/AIDS, peace building and conflict resolution as well as in other social service delivery activities.

The aim of EIFDDA is to provide a mechanism for FBOs to be effectively engaged in the generation of religion-inspired conception and practice of development that could ultimately bring about social, economic, cultural and spiritual prosperity of the vast majority of Ethiopians living in abject material poverty. EIFDDA hopes to achieve its aim by engaging its members and partners in the complementary and mutually reinforcing learning processes of dialogue on substantive issues relating to mainstreaming religious values in development, and action i.e. systematic incorporation of insights by member FBOs and partners that the dialogue can generate in project planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation.
